WATTECO's DieModBus/LoRaWAN bridge acts as a ModBus master and manages a number of ModBus slaves via a wired RTU bus. It communicates with a remote server via a LoRaWAN network. The sensor supports up to 10 configuration profiles that can be set remotely. Once the configuration is complete, automatic data collection starts according to the profiles. The bridge sends ModBus commands to the devices each time it wakes up and transmits their responses to the server. The server can send write requests to the devices whose functions and addresses it specifies. The bridge requires little maintenance and has an NFC tag, magnetic switch and LEDs for identification and control. With a 3.6V/3.6Ah lithium battery, it can operate for more than 10 years if it transmits 4 registers in SF12 every 1 hour. It can also be operated with an external power supply of 9-24V/300mW. WATTECO offers the widest range of IoT products for smart metering and smart industry.
