The MaxBotix MB7389 is a weatherproof HRXL MaxSonar ultrasonic sensor with IP67 protection for precise outdoor distance and level measurements. It measures distances from 300 mm to 5,000 mm with 1-mm resolution and a readout rate of 6.7 Hz, featuring built-in temperature compensation for reliable measurements under varying environmental conditions. In addition to pulse-width modulation (PWM) output, analog voltage and RS-232 serial output are also available. When used with the Elsys ELT LoRa sensor, measurement values are transmitted via LoRaWAN. The housing fits standard 3/4"-PVC pipe fittings; operating temperature: −40 °C to +65 °C; manufactured in the USA.
