The DDS04 distance sensor from Dragino has four channels to which up to four ultrasonic sensors can be connected in order to measure four distances simultaneously. The matching ultrasonic sensors are: A01A-15 Ultrasonic sensor, A02A-15 Ultrasonic sensor, A13-15 Ultrasonic sensor and the A16-15 Ultrasonic sensor.
The sensors are not included and can be ordered separately as accessories in the store. The differences between the sensors lie in the distance measuring range and the measuring angle, resulting in a wide range of possible applications. Typical scenarios would be horizontal distance measurement, general detection of object proximity and presence, robot obstacle avoidance or applications for smart waste and smart parking.
