Barani MeteoRain 200 IoT Pro Rain Sensor (Amount, Intensity)

The Barani MeteoRain 200 IoT Pro (formerly MeteoRain IoT Compact) is a battery-powered LoRaWAN rain gauge with a self-emptying, self-leveling rocker and a 200 cm² collection area. It measures rainfall volume and intensity, empties in 0.13 seconds, and handles rainfall rates of up to 600 mm/h at temperatures above freezing. The data is transmitted directly via radio to the LoRaWAN network; a solar panel and weather station are not required. According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts over 4 years with a 10-minute transmission interval during rain (based on 2,200 hours of rainfall per year). A frost warning is triggered at 2 °C. The funnel can be removed for cleaning; the stainless steel bracket allows for flexible mounting, and bird-deterrent spikes are available as an option.
