The Milesight UC501 LoRaWAN Multi-Interface Controller (with external antenna) is a device for collecting sensor and device data. The controller offers the following basic functions:
- Analog, digital, GPIO, and serial ports enable on-site data acquisition from a mix of wired devices.
- RS232 or RS485 communication, as well as Modbus RTU bridging, connect industrial devices to the network server.
- Configuration via NFC or USB Type-C, as well as the internal power switch, simplify setup and maintenance.
The controller supports Classes A and C, OTAA or ABP connections, and the standard IoT payload format for integration with compatible gateways and the IoT cloud. It is powered by rechargeable batteries, solar power, or 5–24 VDC, and its IP67-rated housing, M12 connectors, and wall- or pole-mounting options make it suitable for monitoring meters, sensors, and devices in outdoor environments while reducing installation effort.
