The iOKE868 LoRaWAN Smart Metering Kit offers an efficient way to monitor real-time energy consumption and secure connectivity with the LoRaWAN IoT network. It is compatible with most modern smart meters, especially those using the IEC62056-21 and SML message protocol. The kit can be magnetically attached to the smart meter to read the infrared interface and extract relevant consumption data. These data are then transmitted to the LoRaWAN network at user-defined intervals. With an external antenna, installation is also possible in challenging RF environments. A user-friendly configuration tool allows for easy adjustment of radio, calendar, and filter settings. This enables more comprehensive and detailed feedback on energy consumption and leads to a significant reduction in operating costs. The kit includes an optical reading head (iO881A), a USB cable for the power supply (1.8 m), and a magnetic base antenna with a 2.5 m cable and MMCX connector. Please note that the kit is delivered without a power supply, and you can choose between a battery holder and a USB power supply.
