The LoRaWAN USB adapter LA66-V2 from Dragino is a small wireless LoRaWAN module that offers a very convincing mix of long range, low power consumption and secure data transmission. This allows a laptop or smartphone to be LoRaWAN-enabled in seconds and gives you full control over the data being transmitted. Dragino's open source app can be used to transmit GPS data from a smartphone, allowing coverage tests to be performed very quickly. Temporary or prototypical connection of a Raspberry Pi is also easily possible with this module. With its own microcontroller and a very stable clock, the adapter does not place any great demands on the connected device.
