The Barani MeteoRain 200 Pro is the updated version of the MeteoRain 200 Compact: a self-emptying rain gauge with a self-leveling rocker and a 200 cm² collection area (Ø 16 cm) for low-maintenance measurement sites in meteorology, agriculture, hydrology, and smart cities. The mechanism empties in 0.13 seconds and delivers Class A accuracy up to 120 mm/h, with compensation up to 600 mm/h. The resolution is 0.2 or 0.25 mm with ±2% accuracy in the field. The IP66W housing is hail-resistant and shock-resistant (15 g); the funnel can be removed for cleaning; and the mounting bracket is made of 3 mm stainless steel. It connects via a reed contact to the MeteoHelix (cable version) or another weather station with a pulse counter (debouncing 0.3 ms, max. 24 VDC, 10 mA). In this configuration, it is not a standalone sensor. An optional upgrade to a 400-cm² funnel with 0.1 mm resolution is available.
