The IIoT-capable model PGW2x.100 pressure gauge from WIKA is ideal for applications in which the process pressure is displayed on site and centralized, web-based remote monitoring is required at the same time. It is based on a robust and fully welded Bourdon tube measuring system that combines the mechanical measuring system with electronic signal processing. The battery-powered radio transmission via LoRaWAN uses LPWAN technology to ensure long transmission ranges and a long battery life.
The PGW2x.100 pressure gauge meets the safety requirements of relevant standards and regulations for on-site indication of the operating pressure of pressure vessels as well as the requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive for data communication. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the LoRaWAN network enables full end-to-end encryption with bidirectional communication, which is crucial for secure IIoT applications.
The PGW2x.100 is based on the high-quality type 2xx.30 pressure gauge in nominal size 100, which complies with the S3 safety version of EN 837-1.
