The RS485 wind speed and wind direction monitor WSS-02 is a wind sensor for the Dragino weather station solution WSC1-LThe WSS-02 from Dragino can detect the speed and direction of the wind and uses an RS485 interface for transmission to the main unit of the weather station.
The polycarbonate composite material of the housing has good anti-corrosion properties to ensure long-term use of the sensor without rust. An internal plain bearing system is used to ensure the stability of the information acquisition. This anemometer is the right accessory for the Dragino weather station solution; a main processing unit must be used in addition, otherwise the functionality cannot be achieved.
