Transformer stations are essential to the infrastructure of distribution networks and it is all the more important to minimize the risk of failure and downtime. The LPN TSM transformer station monitor from Comtac helps you to do this with a simple configuration and little effort for retrofitting. With external antenna, the transformer station monitor can also be used in unfavorable locations. A backup supply is provided for approx. 2 hours via an internal buffer battery.
On the low-voltage side, the phase voltages L1, L2 and L3 are measured as well as the phase and neutral currents l1, l2, l3 and IN. Voltage overshoot and voltage dip are monitored for voltages, and maximum values with adjustable limit values are monitored for currents. Limit value violations are reported immediately via LoRa.
The medium voltage side has inputs for ground fault and short circuit detectors and outputs to reset them remotely. Also included is a signal input for transformer fuse failure, a remotely controllable output for the reset motor and signal input for load disconnector/earth position.
Further signal inputs, such as temperature measurement inputs (PT100), fan/ventilation monitoring or system monitoring (door contact, motion detector) complete the device. The transformer station monitor can also be expanded via a Modbus RTU interface.
